This document gives a brief description of each of the Gear Models available.
Integrated Gear Software: Gear Glossary
Integrated Gear Software: 60-050
The primary purpose of this model is to provide a preliminary set of data and an estimate of the load capacity for an external gear set.
Integrated Gear Software: 60-100
This model calculates the dimensional tolerances for unassembled spur, helical, double helical, and herringbone gears in accordance with ANSI/AGMA Standard 2000-A88, Gear Classification and Inspection Handbook.
Integrated Gear Software: 60-101
This model calculates the dimensional tolerances for cylindrical gears in accordance with ISO 1328. The program supplies single and cumulative pitch deviations, profile deviation, and helix deviation, depending upon the ISO accuracy grade (0-12). For modules outside the ranges covered by the standard, the program issues a warning, but it furnishes the tolerances for reference.

An evaluation of the lead mismatch between parallel axis involute gear teeth is necessary to assess the effect of uneven load distribution along the teeth.
Integrated Gear Software: 60-103
The primary purpose of this model is to provide data for a gear set when the tooth thickness and/or the center distance is not “standard”.
Integrated Gear Software: 60-104
This is a model of the contact conditions between two external spur or helical involute gears. The contact ratios, start of active profile, specific sliding and many other geometrical conditions are calculated and checked.

The purpose of this model is to provide data for a gear set when the tooth thickness and/or the center distance is not “standard.”
